Identifying Orbs Orbs have to be one of the most contentious paranormal subjects. They are commonly found in photographs and can easily mislead us. It's hard for us to accept that a photograph taken by ourselves which show such anomalies, can have a natural cause; and so tend to get instantly labled as paranormal. However, most can be accounted for as being natural captures of dust, moisture or even insects. There are very rare occasions when they seem to defy the normal route of analysis, and these will completely convince the masses that it's the genuine article, and can even manage to intrigue the die hard cynic! That said, with the knowledge that is currently available to us, it is an impossible task to categorically identify a true paranormal orb; at best, all we can do is offer educated conjecture!

Are Ouija Boards Evil? Mention the use of a Ouija board to a paranormal research group these days and you’ll get a lot of head shaking and statements about “opening portals” and “demonic entities.” Mention it to religious fundamentalists and you’ll practically see them shudder and back away on shaky legs, as if the board was created by Satan himself as a means of enslaving human souls.
How did the Ouija board and similar “talking boards” get this reputation? Is it deserved? How is it different than other methods of spirit communication?

What is a ghost? Ghosts are very popular subjects these days. About half the American people admit to believing in them, and there are ghost beliefs in nearly every culture in the world. People have told ghost stories and reported ghostly encounters for all of recorded history. Today, paranormal
investigators are compiling film and audio evidence, and experimenting with changes in electromagnetic fields and temperature in allegedly haunted places to try to determine if there is objective evidence for the existence of something we might identify as a ghost. Growing evidence indicates that there is, indeed,
some unexplained phenomena that can, for lack of a better word, be identified as a ghost or spirit..

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) In the field of paranormal investigation, one of the easiest and most effective methods of research involves the making of Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) recordings. The basic concept behind EVP is that the spirits of those who have passed on through the process of death can utilize the electrical energy in a recording device to implant a message on the media that can be heard when it is played back. The equipment used to attempt to capture these messages and comments is very simple. Most research is done with micro-recorders, hand-held audiocassette recorders, compact disc or digital recording machines. While preference is currently being given to digital recorders, the older analog cassette recorders will also function quite well for the work at hand.

Ghost Hunting Equipment Many ghost investigators use a variety of tools to aid them during the process of investigation. Most ghost investigating equipment can be purchased at a relatively low cost to the investigator or team. Conversely, some initial equipment may be more costly. Nevertheless, such tools can prove to be invaluable companions.

Shadow People In today's world the hustle and bustle of life makes most people oblivious to a fleeting shadow that seems to disappear as quickly as it appears. If it is noticed, this phenomenon is dismissed as easily as a hair being seen out of the corner of your eye. Many of these so called sightings are just an overactive imagination, particularly ones that are reported at night, with glowing red eyes. Some people even claim to have been chased by shadow people. People that claim to have seen shadow people often have a feeling a dread accompanying the phenomenon.
