Evil Spirit in my apartment

My name is Trevor I live in the state of Washington. Last night my girlfriend and I experienced the worst feeling ever... Just complete terror. I was in the kitchen just getting a glass a water after putting some brownies in the oven and I start hearing these nosies. At first i assumed these noises were coming from the freezer like an ice machine or a air conditioning unit would make.. a sound like "Koooo". So, I heard this faintly multiple times I began to believe it was something other than the freezer so i called my girlfriend Francesca out to the kitchen. I asked her to try and listen to hear this noise... She thought i was just being dumb so she was not expecting to hear anything like i was. So we both quiet down and try to hear this noise... faintly again I heard it but she did not. We both looked at each other, quieted down some more and waited... Then this noise definitely got louder like a terrifying breath being exhaled in my hear.(she said the look I gave her was me almost crying) Luckily I'm not crazy she heard and felt this too. Besides for the noise, the feeling i got at that time was like something wanted to hurt me.I grabbed my girlfriend by the arm so hardly to pull her outside that it hurt her for a good 5 minutes later. We ran towards the front door tried to calm down but looked towards the kitchen and still felt it. Something passed threw me... the energy was terrifying. I would rather face a grizzly with no weapons then go to a haunted house now. So we exit our house and wait outside for my mom to get back. She just left moments after her leaving this thing took advantage. My mom cant even explain why she left in the middle of her favorite show to go to the store when she was planning to go after. Why miss it. She was acting weird when she left too. Oustide looking in the windows i was terrified. TERRIFIED!!!! Frezzing outside in a tshirt and her with no shoes for 1 hr. It didnt matter. I was not coming back in til my mom was home. I"m twenty years old btw. Oh.... the brownies burnt. Lol. Please give me any advice you might have I would really apreciate it. Thank You !!! Nothing happened after that last night or this morning. I came back in loudly saying BE GONE and no eveil spirits are welcome. I hope that worked.

Did your mom say anything as to weird, anything like she didn't feel comfortable in the house for some reason?
Have you ever thought to ask her if she had experienced anything odd in the house before?
How long have you lived in this house?

Hi Trevor, has anything else occurred since this event? If not, there is a good possibility that there is some natural explanation for this. Best of luck...let us know how it turns out!
